chase away the winter blues

I don't handle winter very well. It just seems like...
A) end of the year, I'm always stressed with the mixture of holiday shopping and overwhelmed with work because everyone goes on vacation except me, leaving me to do everything.
B) dry dry skin! argh! my face, my body, everywhere. hate that dry winter skin feeling
C) static. my hair is flying everywhere and I fear opening doors, because of the static shocks.
D) nothing is ever warm AND cute enough. i'm bundled up to the max and not looking cute. the angora hair from my sweaters bother my eyes.

the solution? let's all go to Australia!

Yesterday was the Christmas sweater fest at the Echoplex. I wanted to go, but I didn't. Or couldn't. This weekend was crazy busy running errands. Also, I did not have a Christmas sweater to wear. The lineup was awesome though: Deadly Syndrome, Castledoor, Happy Hollows! I love them all! Love! Yes. I love my LA bands for sure. Maybe next year I will wear a super rad sweater and go so I can win.

I've been in a major funk lately and the sh*ttiest mood today. Can't really describe it. I need to recharge or something. It's like the stage after your burnt out and having your world rocked again emotionally when you were settling down. Oh, emotions... And I broke my nail last night while bowling.
